My reaction regarding to an article on a newspaper entitled "Teaching it correctly: History is not about dates" is that I really do agree with the writer that if a teacher requires the student to memorize the dates and places don't know how to teach at all. Honestly, I'm not fond of History because I really hate memorization. Way back to my 1st year high school Social Studies, I hate the history of Magellan because our teacher let us memorize all the dates and places Magellan had gone through before he reached Philippines. I also agreed on the writer about "A good history teacher must be a good story teller". History is all about the happenings before or it is what we called past. It's just like, you as a teacher is the story teller and you're students are your children. Take note that your audience is children; you must let them understand your story on their level.
History teachers should have read this article for them to know that History is not about dates to memorize. It must be the happenings happened at that time for us to understand why our present is like this. Past really do connect to our present because our present cannot be like this without the past. History teachers must teach history well because just like what was said earlier that History is not just about dates; it's the moral learning’s we learn from our past. I observe that in every history subjects and books, dates and places are there. The true essence of history has been forgotten of most of the students because of the dates. I, myself when we talk about history the first thing on my mind is dates and places, not the happenings and learning’s.
Honestly, history for me is the most boring subject. Way back before I entered college, my teacher doesn’t do much if it's her time. She let us read the book and that's it. It really made me look history subject more boring because when I read I feel sleepy. I really do appreciate the effort of the.

Last year, my friend, who did not speak English, went to the USA. When he arrived at the IAD airport, he had a big problem. A customs official asked him, “Why are you here?”, and he answered, “I am a tourist”. Unfortunately, he pronounced it wrongly; he pronounced it as a terrorist. Do you agree or disagree with the following statement
A student must like a teacher in order to learn from the teacher.
It seems common that a student will study well at one course because of a good teacher he or she like. But students are not always so lucky that they can meet a teacher they like and maybe the teacher is not good at teaching and explain things. Even though the students meet a teacher they dont like, I think it should not be an obstacle for student to learn the knowledge and it is no necessary to must like a teacher in order to learn the knowledge.
The purpose of education is to help the people to have the knowledge about the world and help them know the truth or principle in order to help them to have a basic understanding about the world both in nature and society. Therefore, the goal of education for student is to learn the knowledge from every channel possible, not just from the teacher.
Second, teacher is not always right. No one can be always right and always stay with the truth. As a result, the knowledge, the teacher informs to you, may not be quite right even be wrong in some degree. So we should not believe all the teacher told you without suspect and we should learn them with our own thought and idea.
Third, the knowledge from teacher is limited. For example, the history teacher can not tell you the solution of a mathematics problem. On the other hand, a math teacher can not tell you the history about the ancient Egypt.
In conclusion, the student definitely should learn more knowledge from the teacher but it is not necessary to like a teacher for the purpose of learning. First there are many ways to get knowledge and information except teacher. Further more the teacher can not always be right and can not promise every thing, he or she teaches you, is definitely right. Finally the teachers knowledge is limited due to their research field, back ground and so on. And if you meet a teacher you dont like and the way he or she teaching is boring to you, I think it should not be an obstacle for you to achieve the truth and knowledge.

CONSEQUENCES OF CHILD ABUSE
Shrill cries from a small child in the middle of the night. "Ahhh, please daddy don't I'm sorry, daddy I'm so sorry. I'll be good I promise, I love you daddy!" Scared and confused, all she can do is sit there and take the abuse. She's so frighten; she doesn't understand why her daddy hates her so much to hit her so hard. She told him that she loves him, but he still hits her. All he does is yell, "SHUT UP! Why do you make me do this, shut up!" How do you think you would feel? Sitting scared to death, afraid to move, afraid to make him mad. So you sit there in the dark crying ever so quietly. "They cry in the dark, so you can't see their tears, they hide in the light, so you can't see their fears, forgive and forget, all the while, love and pain become one and the same, in the eyes of a wounded child."(Benatar).
Among more than 1,400 adult females, childhood sex.
BAM! He kicks the door in, "Shut up! Stop crying or I'll give you something to cry about!" Later on, a few years down the road, the poor girl was still being abused. She wasn't being abused as much, but still just enough to give her nightmares. She can't seem to get the pictures out of her head, every time she closes her eyes; there he is, beating her. The poor girl begins to try anything she can to just forget, to forget everything, to make the pain just disappear; after all wouldn't you want to do anything in your power just to forget? Since child abuse is such a traumatic
experience, children often suffer from psychological problems that may influence or promote the use of narcotics later on in life.Citation styles:
